explore what’s new at pryes: a bigger taproom

Although we first established Pryes in 2012, we didn’t find the right home for our brewery until 2017. We spent a lot of time exploring different buildings in various locations, looking for the right fit that would match our vision for the future. The 1401 W. River Rd. location along the Mississippi River and just north of downtown Minneapolis had the potential we were looking for, and so, we set up shop there—transforming what was once an old warehouse into a unique taproom space (with room to grow).

After five years of growing our business, and surviving COVID, we were finally ready to take the next step towards expansion. In 2022, we started construction, breaking walls down in our neighboring building and migrating our warehouse from its location 5 miles southeast to the new brewery space. The first phases were all happening behind the scenes and included expanding our brewhouse and building the new warehouse.

In the later phases of construction, we started working on the new taproom space—adding in a second mezzanine, stadium seating, a lower lounge, and more. This essentially doubled our indoor capacity from what it was before—allowing us to welcome more guests, provide unique spaces for more private events and gatherings, and hold more indoor events throughout the year.
